A fitting last day

I can still remember the firsts… First kiss from my wife, first car, first time at Disney, first time I ever stepped into CrossRoads. This last weekend was my last at CrossRoads. I have had the pleasure of serving and working with some of the most amazing people in the world. We loved, we laughed, we cried, we worked, we struggled, and we overcame. It was amazing.
I love that God works in amazing ways, I have no idea what’s in store for Sarah and I, but we KNOW that He is working in our lives. And I get to meet new people, have new adventures, first services, first meetings, first emails, and first vision casts. I cannot wait.
My friends at CrossRoads have stolen my heart and I can never repay them for their kindness, their love, their acceptance, and their friendship. We truly accomplished our goal: to be a family. And as I leave my CrossRoads family, I look forward to my new StonePoint family. It will be different, but I am excited about what is in store for us. And, when it’s all said and done, and I stand with my Savior in heaven, I will be joined by not only my StonePoint family, but also by CrossRoads, LifePoint, Braelinn, Rehoboth, and Redeemer families.
It has been a fitting last day in Florida for Sarah and myself, we have had friends and family call, come by the house, email, and Twitter. It’s been amazing to actually SEE the impact that we have had, and how God has worked through us both. I will miss you all, but it’s not goodbye, it’s so long…for now.
