A NEW Perspective
I’m not going to lie to you, this is a VERY difficult time for me and my family. I’m not comfortable sharing ALL the details, but let’s just say, God is testing the dedication to our Faith in Him. It’s been a long journey, and I cannot wait to see the destination.
On of my biggest obstacles is keeping the proper perspective. Here’s what I mean. Watch this video and continue below (It’s 5 minutes, AT LEAST wait until he moves the canvas before you “check out” – trust me, it’s worth it.)

Now, did YOU see Jimi BEFORE he flipped the canvas? I didn’t and I KNEW he was painting Jimi Hendrix. It was in the perspective that the picture became clear.
I struggle HARD with keep perspective with God and my ministry. But I can ALWAYS see God’s hand in my life and my ministry, when I look through the perspective of HIND SIGHT. The key is gaining the ability to see (and trust) God with FORE SIGHT.
Acts 20:24 Says,
“…I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the gospel of God’s grace.”
Ministry – Living Our Lives – Survival – however you describe it, perspective is imperative. Just when you think you have it all figured out, God will spin your canvas and reveal something amazing.
2 Timothy 4:6-8 says,
“For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time has come for my departure. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.”
The reality of the situation, no matter where you find yourself looking, HIND or FORE sight, God is at work, and He continually challenges to keep up with Him. He calls all of us to keep His perspective and run His race. But he also knows that we are frail creatures. The work is hard, but the reward is great – it’s like an old saying that wise, old theologian told me, “God didn’t bring us THIS far to drop us on our butts now!”
