I had heard about Kinetic Church’s situation. Someone stole the trailer that contained 75% of all that the church owned. They meet in a movie theater and set up and tear down every weekend. And then I say this headline over at Monday Morning Insights: “Stealing from God…Ballsy.” So of course, I HAD to read it and inside, was this video:
After watching this, I have an amazing amount of respect for Kinetic Church and their pastor Dave Milam. Not only did they set this video up for the thief to see, they bought billboards and have leveraged this entire event to be a huge evangelistic event.
The thing at amazes me the most is the flat out graciousness of this guy. I remember those days of setting up and tearing down, in fact, I am about to move into that situation again, and if someone were to steal OUR trailer, I would flip out. And I am not sure I would have the poise, grace, and forgiveness that Dave and his crew have. I am truly inspired and humbled.
And I pray that they win the guy to Christ…now THAT would be ballsy!
I cannot even imagine the lynchmob that would be forming at our church right now. God bless the forgivers.

I go to Kinetic, and just so you know, the billboards were donated. We had to pay for the artwork and to have them put up, but God really blessed us with the space to do it!
