Sunday Night Decompress

Trying to focus my chi, cleanse my mind, whatever you choose to call it, this is my Sunday night decompress…

  • Great day today, I got to lead the CONNECT Team leaders meeting after church. I got to work completely inside my sweet spot.
  • I am still able to work through this departure, and it’s being noticed, and I appreciate that folks are seeing this and God is using it to make people better.
  • I got to have a special dinner with my lovely bride, and it was awesome!
  • I cannot wait to meet all the bloggers I read at Unleash. Sarah and I are driving to Newnan tomorrow, looking for a house, and then hooking up with Scott and the StonePoint team. Good times!
  • The fascinating thing about leadership is when it’s good, it’s good, and when it’s bad, it’s devastating. My prayer is that we, as leaders, learn that lesson.
  • My wife is amazing.
  • I think that Rudy is one of my favorite movies.

    John and Sarah Irene,

If I can leave you with one thought it would be that you have forever changed the Crossroads Praise and Worship Team for the GOOD! We have grown in amazing ways, that never would have happened without you. I am so thankful for the time we had with you – you brought fun, laughter, and POSITIVE change to our team, and it will never be the same without you. Thank you for all you did to make Crossroads the best it could be musically. The rest, don’t worry about it!! :) Chad and I send love and best wishes with you wherever God leads you.
