Sunday Night Decompress

Well, it’s been an exciting day. A lot of great stuff and many opportunities to BE THE CHURCH and also BE JESUS to Coweta County.  So, on to the decompression!

  • SID and I saw The Dark Knight yesterday….It’s the best superhero move EVER.  And I have seen most ALL of them.
  • 6:30 is not as much as an enemy as it once thought that he was….”For now my friend….you have survived….for now..”
  • We’ve changed a few of the Sunday Morning Rituals at StonePoint.  So, we’re still seeing what works and what doesn’t.
  • The band rocked it out of the park, as usual, and since we finished the FEARLESS series today, they don’t have to play All the Things I’ve Done, again for a LONG while.
  • We had another church plant team visiting today, which was cool, and they are planting in the Griffin area.  It’ll be great getting to know them and watch God work through them.
  • SID also got to sit in services today, which was AWESOME!
  • Scott talked about Fearless Purpose and he used Paul to talk about the vision for StonePoint.  Amazing, a pastor, talking about the vision for the church, unashamedly, unflinchingly, and without compromise…in a word, fearless.
  • AFTER church, we treated the Band to lunch and a little SURPRISE.  It was also an opportunity to really get to know the band and ask them how to solve some issues and move forward WITH them.
  • I was WAY pumped up after that meeting, I LOVE when I get to use the gifts God has given me.
  • After we finished, a little Scott/John/SID pow-wow, and then home.
  • A quick nap and some Internet, and you have this post.
  • This week looks to be busy and filled with a lot of  work in preparation for kicking of our Home Teams and StonePoint’s 2nd Anniversary.
  • I am also working the “look” of this site.  I am still struggling with Internet Explorer.  My page looks GREAT in Firefox, but not so good in IE.  I’m on it, so we shall see.

QUOTABLE QUOTES
