Sunday Night Mind Dump

It was a GREAT day at StonePoint today. We had Perry Noble via video today for One Prayer.
When the alarm when off at 6:00am, I had only gotten about 3 1/2 hours sleep. Molly, the basset hound, had a problem staying asleep. And so then, did I….
At 6:48 AM, I got my first opportunity to put a trailer ON my truck.
Sarah got it on my truck.
Sarah also PARKED the truck….Hmmmm
We got everything set up and ready to go with a minimal amount of volunteers. It was also great to have Jimmy and PJ running sound.
The band was ON. We opened with “Livin’ an a Prayer” by Bon Jovi. Oh, yeah…we’re bringing back the 80′s.
Sarah continues to knock it out of the park in Kidz Zone.
I believe that the crowd really enjoyed Perry’s talk. A lot of people were laughing and enjoying it. Someone said, “It was like watching a comedy act, but about Jesus.”
AFTER church, it was Five Guys. It is ALWAYS a good day when you get Five Guys for lunch.
I tried too hard to connect with too many people at lunch, and a hard comment was made to Sarah about it. I tried…maybe too hard.
After lunch, I got my first try at getting the trailer OFF of my truck. It only took 15 minutes….
Sarah got the trailer off the truck.
I got about 30 minutes of nap, Sarah backed a pie for my dad’s dinner dessert…and then we headed over to dad’s for a little dinner and movie (Transporter on FX, eh…)
Sarah and I had to make a run for Wal-Mart to pick up some Rockstar No-Carb…I am hooked.
A little TV nightcap, and then to bed.

This week will be cool , there are a few meetings that I will be at, and then Friday, is the volunteer Leadership Meeting. It’s going to be off the hook. This is the FIRST leadership meeting that I am leading. StonePoint is due for some amazing things to happen this Fall, and we have to be ready!
