Should you then seek great things for yourself? – Jeremiah 45:5
A simple question, that has rocked my world. What am I seeking? Am I seeking GOD or the THINGS of God? What is motivating me, a deeper relationship with the Creator, or the objects of Creation?
How I am spending my time is becoming more of an issue for me. Not that I am wasting a lot of time, but the things that I decide to invest my time in. I am also struggling with the motivations in my life. I am wrestling with the many things choices and decisions I make, on a daily basis.
Am I chosing what I chose based on getting closer to God, or because I want the perks getting closer to God brings?
Is it more about surrender or stuff?
I’m right there with ya my brother!! It’s easy to choose between good things and bad things. The challenge I am faced with is choosing between good and God.Godly things are good,because he always has been, always is and always will be good!!!
