Two years ago today, I received one of the most amazing blessing from God…I got to marry my best friend. God allowed me to win the heart of Sarah-Irene Nehrig and on May 13, 2006, she became SID (Sarah-Irene DONAHUE). It has been an WILD 2 years. After the wedding and we move Sarah to Florida, Sarah gets a job, we lose her mom, Sarah loses her job, she gets another job, we buy our first home, she loses her job, and gets ANOTHER job, and then loses it, the I get a new job, we move BACK to Georgia, and Sarah is looking for a new job. Now, don’t get me wrong, Sarah was downsized…TWICE. With all that emotional craziness, it’s almost a miracle that we got to this point. Sarah is amazing and everywhere she goes, she blows people away. She is outgoing, funny, brilliant, and great with power tools! (I SOOOO married UP!)
So, it’s our 2nd Anniversary. And I am just amazed that she still keeps me. She challenges me (in good and other ways), she is so much stronger than I am (emotionally, phisically, and mentally), and I absolutely cannot imagine life without her. I thank God every day for her being in my life and for her choosing me as her husband.
Sarah, I know that these last 2 years have been crazy, but I am so grateful that you have been there with me. I am so thankful God has given me someone to balance me and help do what I know that God has called us to. You are so much stronger than you know, and I believe that you ARE 10 Feet Tall and Bullet Proof. I will love you always, and not 1 day goes by that I don’t pray for you and thank God for you.
