Sunday Night Decompress

  • Very easy day – even for someone who doesn’t have a full time job.
  • Watched the Nascar race – great job Kyle Busch!
  • I got set up on Blip.com, which is pretty cool and interesting, but it’s great to collect some of my favorite songs online and share them with others.
  • I’ve been working on connecting with others to aid in the job search.  But I got to talk to a friend of mine from 20 years back…20 years…I CANNOT believe it’s been that long.
  • Sid was working her long weekends, that seem to incorporate the weekdays as well, and when she got home, we grabbed a cat nap.  Well, I grabbed a cat nap, she collapsed…I have no idea how much longer she can keep this up.
  • My prayer is that God opens a door up soon so that she can stop working so much, I admire her, but I do worry for her.
  • We got up and grabbed some food.  Then we went to The Brass Tap.  It’s 2 for 1 tap night after 9:00pm!  We had a great time for under $20.00.
  • Got home and she found an old copy of Where The Sidewalk Ends – The Poems And Drawings Of Shel Silverstein.  She read poems to me until we were giggled.  I love here when she’s silly…most of time.

WEEKLY LOOK AHEAD

  • I have a lunch appointment with a church-planter buddy of mine.  It’s about me playing for Easter at his church, I don’t think they are hiring.  But hey, who knows?
  • Tuesday is a lunch appointment with a good friend of mine, I value her friendship and opinion.  We haven’t been able to chat for a while, so I am looking forward to Tuesday.
  • I have some more job possibilities to work on, the search never ends…but we honestly believe that God has something in store, we just have to be patient, and aware of God working.
  • Sid’s Step-Mom and Dad are coming in on Saturday, so it will be Acts 2′s version of Meet the Parents.
