- Sorry for the delay again this week, it was an eventful Sunday evening and I didn’t want to interrupt the night.
- Sid had her 2nd day at the Country Club, as the receptionist, and I wanted to sleep in…so I did until about 9:30 am.
- I chose not to attend any church, I had about 3 churches who wanted me to visit, but I just could not go.
- So it was breakfast for the dogs and myself and I sat down to plug in to the world.
- I was pretty excited about the Daytona 500, so I flipped the TV to Speed Channel, and OD’d on NASCAR.
- I was supposed to do something special for Sid, I had decided to go to the fair, so I started my plans. Unfortunately, somewhere along the way on Saturday, I had pulled a muscle in my back…and it woke up around noon.
- So, I started out to meet up with Sid, but the longer I drove, the worse it got…Thankfully, Sid suggested we NOT go to the fair and we went home.
- It was leftover night and I took the hottest shower ever and my back started to feel better.
- With the help of a heating pad and Sid, I started to feel better.
- We watched the WWE pay-per-view online, as much as the feed allowed, and it was cool
- And then Sid made FUNNEL CAKES…it was a trade off for not going to the fair.
- They were RIGHTEOUS!
- After letting to dogs out – we both crawled in bed and watched Hell’s Kitchen on HULU – nice!
- After turning the heating pad up to 11, I conked out…
- …and yes, at some point, I woke up and turned the heating pad off…don’t worry.
WEEKLY LOOK AHEAD
- Sid is in the middle of a full week of work – Thanks God. So we’ll be making calls to lawyers and banks about our house. Please pray for us!
- I have ANOTHER interview on Tuesday – it came out of nowhere and it’s not exactly the type of church I would have sought out, but who knows, I keep telling God I will go and do whatever, so who knows.
- I have a gig with a local band on Friday night, I had to miss rehearsal because of a conflict, so it should be interesting.
- Saturday, is a very important/scary/crazy/exciting day…it’s the first gathering of the Acts 2 Church. It’s been a long time coming, and it’s going to be OFF THE HOOK!
- Sunday, my Mom is coming to Tampa! Sid and I can’t wait! I’m picking her up at the airport and then heading STRAIGHT to the beach – we get to spend a couple days at a friend’s house, so mom get’s to decompress and I get to spend time with her! Sid gets to come after work and she got off for Monday, so we can all spend the day at the beach.
