Sunday Night Decompress

  • It was a wild weekend and Sunday was a great day, LONG , but really great.
  • Saturday, SID spent the day with Dave working a Christmas event.  She had a great time and did am awesome job.
  • I spent the day cleaning and organizing the garage…yeah, I need a chiropractor and a massage!
  • Sunday AM, SID was going to our old church to support our friends during their Christmas Production.  They did really well and MOST everyone was really excited to see her.  Many asked about me, and that felt really good.
  • I DO miss my family at CrossRoads, but I am happy to follow God and move on.
  • I got to sleep in and SID met me at 11:00am for services at City of Faith, a local church plant here in Wesley Chapel.  I’ve really gotten to know Frankie Ammons, their pastor, and I wanted to check them out.
  • After church SID wasn’t feeling all that great, so we went home and had some lunch, and took a little nap – I LOVE Sunday naps with Sarah.
  • We got up and headed to an organizational meeting we were asked to attend.  With all that Sarah and I know about church planting, Frankie asked us to attend and give feedback and ideas.  We drug our friend Dave along for his insight.  It was great.
  • I LOVE being around people who are sold out for God.  They have a BIG vision from God for Wesley Chapel.  It’s very exciting.  I’m not sure if my ideas helped, but I offered what I could.
  • After the meeting, Sid and I hung out at Dave and Michelle’s for dinner and a little football.  I LOVE being back home in Tampa!
  • Sid and I came home and finished the football game and watched a little of the House marathon in TV.
  • All in all, a really great day.  The weather was amazing all day and I love being back in my house with my friends and seeking God’s will!

Weekly Look-Ahead

  • The job search continues.
  • I have some appointments scheduled throughout the week with friends and potential jobs.
  • Wednesday is the TNL Christmas party.  Sarah and I cannot wait to spend time with our family from TNL.
  • This Sunday, I have been asked to speak at City of Faith.  It should be interesting.  My style and their style are SLIGHTLY different, but the Word of God with smooth over any differences!  Hopefully, I will be able to link to an MP3 for everyone!
