- I have been getting my butt kicked by a cold, so blogging and Tweeting have been slow this week.
- I woke up got ready to head to The View in Riverview, FL. Pastor Rob Rutherford is a great guy with a HUGE vision for God in Riverview, and I wanted to see what they were doing.
- They are small in size, but they had a lot of fun, the teaching was solid, and they have a ton of potential.
- Sid got a call to help out Danny Schaffner over at Common Ground-Tamp, they needed a sound guy and Sid went over and knocked it out of the park. She and I both have a passion for smaller, local churches.
- After I finished up at The View, I headed over to Zephyrhills to check out New Walk’s last sermon in their Bucket List series.
- Sid met up with me and we partook of the Zephyrhills tradition of Golden Panda Chinese Buffet. Apparently, ALL of Zephyrhills got the same memo, it was CROWDED, but really good.
- As usual, Sid and I stopped in to see Shannon, our favorite local produce market for some necessities, and then we went home.
- I would love to say that I got a lot of work done and all, but I didn’t I couldn’t stay awake. I took some cold medicine and crashed.
- And that is pretty much how the rest of the evening went. Sid isn’t feel all that well either, so we just lounged around, took cold medicine, and slept. All in all, it was a great day.
- Now if I could get rid of this nagging cough!
WEEKLY LOOK AHEAD
- Sid SHOULD be starting her new job this weekend. As soon as the test results come back from her drug test, she should be ready to start!
- I have a meeting with some local church gurus on Tuesday AM.
- There is also another meeting Tuesday night for a possible job – start praying now!
- I have a gig with a local band on Feb 20, so there is rehearsal on Friday. Other than that, I have a fairly open week.
- Job hunting and doing what I can for God.
- Acts 2 Church kicks off on Feb. 21, so we’ll start sending emails and reminders for everyone this week.
