Sundy Night Mind Dump

It would be IMPOSSIBLE to talk about my Sunday without talking about how my Saturday ended.
SID and a friend of ours went out to spend some time hanging out…so you KNOW we went to TACO MAC.
Once home, we got into bed…and then SID was hurling her guts…ALL OVER THE BATHROOM. We’re not 100% if it was something she ate or drank, but it was all over the bathroom and at 1:15 AM, I finally crawled in to bed for by 5 hour nap for Sunday AM.
I let SID sleep in and went in to church – got the trailer and set everything up. I was running Media Shout today, which was cool. I rarely get to be a “tech guy” any more, so I really enjoyed being in the booth for the day.
We got done, and tore it all down. The theater opened at 11:30, so most everything was torn down by the time I got outside the theater.
SID and I hit a drive through, and hit the couch for food/football/doggies.
A (SHORT) nap later, and I started to check email and watched KIMBO SLICE get killed in 14 seconds.
Heading over to my dad’s for MORE football and dinner, and then back to the search for a job….
O I didn’t mention the job….Glad you asked..
For those of you who work or attend StonePoint, I STILL work there. We’ve just got a few i$$ue$ that we are trying to over come.
SO – for the time being, I am trying to supplement my income. Good news is SID has a full-time/full-paying gig.
I am excited about the future – scared as Hell – but still very excited.
I look forward to see where I land.

UPFRONT WEEK IN PREVIEW

My old buddy Tony Moran is coming in on Monday afternoon to spend a couple of days -which is awesome. So you know that there will be cigars, cocktails, and WWE Monday night.
Tuesday is hanging out with Tony and getting ready for….
Catalyst Conference on Wednesday-Friday. It’s going to be GREAT… I get to hob-nob with some of the most “cutting edge” guys in progressive-post modern church. It will be a GREAT opportunity to network.
I turn 38 on Wednesday – yes, I will wear black.
I could use your prayers/good thoughts – our friends in Tampa, who live in our house, are struggling, SID and I are struggling, my grandparents are struggling, in fact…everyone almost I KNOW is struggling. SO, God needs to do something and I cannot wait to see what He does. But I could really use your prayers in the process.
