It’s a busy week here at StonePoint. We’re partnering with over 1,200 churches with the One Prayer series, it will be amazing!! but I wanted to pass along some amazing posts. I pray that it impacts you like it did me.
- Chris Elrod was very transparent about an amazing tragedy that God is using for His good.
- One of my favorite bloggers, Matt Evans, wrote a post that EVERY church leader should read.
- Perry Noble has some advice for all of us who attend a local church, and something that I have failed at in the past, but I am getting much better at.
- I agree with Steven Furtick, people will turn on you, but we need to deal with it and move on. I am working HARD on this myself.
- And because my wife and I are Michael Bay/Transformers geeks…
- Seth Godin wrote:
“Non-profits do the same thing when they spend months planning an elaborate gala that takes all the time and enriches the hotel and the caterer. Far better to spend the time and money building actual relationships than going for the big ‘grand’ hit”. Read his post here.
- And since everyone ELSE quotes Nelson Sercy,
“The reasonable man adapts himself to the world. The unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore, all progress depends upon the unreasonable man.”
– George Bernard Shaw, Playwright

Sounds like Romans 12:2! Transformed and no longer conforming to this world.
