I can still remember the night, 2 1/2 years ago when I called my soon-to-be wife, Sarah, and said, “Are you sitting down? Good, I think that God has given me a dream.” And boy, what a dream it is… It’s what some people call a BHAG (Big Hairy Audacious Goal). A dream that ONLY GOD can fulfill. And here is that I told her…
I want to buy a villa off the coast of Spain, or France, or somewhere off the Mediterranean Sea that we can convert into a Bed and Breakfast, where we can buy and charter a small boat for day cruises (Sarah would obviously captain) and allow missionaries from all over the world come and vacation for free!
And her response….”AWESOME!!! I’m in!”
And that is my dream. We can open it up at midday and serve cold beverages and serve tapas, and have people stay there and be loved on by Sarah and myself, while our kids help run the B & B. How are we going to pull this off? I have no idea, but I truly believe that if God has given me this dream, this BHAG, He will provide for us and MAKE this happen.
